the thrill
of a lifetime
are you ready
to slide down
an active volcano?
Tour leaves daily @ 9Am
the founder
of volcano boarding
Volcano Boarding is an extreme thrill-seeking kind of sport created by an equally extreme, Australian thrill-seeker, Daryn Webb.
The founder of Volcano Boarding sent his very first boarder down an active volcano back in 2004.
Darryn Webb is also the founder of Bigfoot Hostel in Leon, Nicaragua in 2005.
Daryn and his crew endured a fair share of trial and error, testing everything from picnic tables to mattresses until...
... they created a sit-down toboggan made of metal and Formica-reinforced plywood.
The adventure sport was born!
Volcano boarding was the world's first. León became the only place in the world you could slide down the side of an active volcano.
Bigfoot Volcano Boarding has sent down over 20.000 people to slid down Cerro Negro slope at up to 101km/hr!
